Sears Home Appliance Showroom Opens New Store in Christiana, Delaware

Soloff Realty & Development, Inc. (“SRD”), announces that Sears Authorized Hometown Stores, LLC, d/b/a Sears Home Appliance opened their new 6,683 square foot showroom at Christiana Center, located at Route 1 and Center Boulevard in Newark, Delaware, adjacent to the Christiana Mall, anchored by Macy’s, Target, JC Penny and Nordstrom on Monday, October 15th.  

This is a new concept store for Sears, concentrating on “high end” kitchen and household appliance sales. Sears joins numerous national retailers at Christiana Center, a dominant power center including Costco Wholesale Club, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michael’s Crafts, Petco, Pier I, Men’s Warehouse, HH Gregg, Bahama Breeze and Don Pablo’s.

Richard Soloff of SRD represented the Landlord, PR Christiana, LLC (PREIT). Sears is exclusively represented by Steve Niggeman and Joe Dougherty of Metro Commercial Real Estate.
